The ALS Association is the only non-profit organization fighting Lou Gehrig’s Disease on every front. By leading the way in global research, providing assistance for people with ALS through a nationwide network of chapters, coordinating multidisciplinary care through certified clinical care centers, and fostering government partnerships, The Association builds hope and enhances quality of life while aggressively searching for new treatments and a cure.
Each year, the Walk to Defeat ALSTM brings communities together in the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Though we walk for various reasons, we are united in our quest to find a cure for ALS.
Don’t miss out on exciting updates and plans as Walk Day approaches!
Walk Because You Can
Walk Day is so much more than an event. It’s a time to be with friends, family, coworkers and neighbors and make a true difference in the lives of those impacted by ALS.
National and local corporations support Walk events through sponsorships and by forming Walk Teams. Corporate support is the fastest growing component of the Walk program.
The Walk program funds important services and programs for people with ALS & their families, as well as leading, cutting-edge research.
Sign letters on Walk Day or become an ALS Association Advocate and help make significant strides on Capitol Hill for people with ALS.
